Amanda held most roles in her Rotaract club including President, then DRR, chair of RA and Rotary advisor to RA. Amanda has done similar in Rotary and just completed her third term as club President for three different Rotary clubs. Amanda’s primary role through each of her presidential terms has been to create stability and consistency for the clubs as well as member wellbeing. Amanda has also been in a range of Rotary project and programs, for District, multi-district and zone - her longest commitment being District RYPEN (in various roles since 2005 and camp director since 2018), and at a zone level Amanda served in the Membership committee 2012-2015, Trainer for the Zone’s L&D District leads since 2021, and has been working in various committees with the Regionalisation Pilot including Communications Operations Manager, a member of the core team and the Deputy Chair of the Regionalisation Establishment Team.

A Past District Governor and District Trainer in Rotary , Company Director with qualifications in dispute resolution I have spent many years working in the area of membership especially focussing on bringing in new members and retaining members. I have been a member of the District Membership committee and have chaired the Membership committee within my Rotary Club for 6 years increasing membership from 15 to 53, in addition to retaining the majority of members . have also used the same principles to increase membership in other organisations A strong leader, having used my leadership skills in Rotary as well as in several other organisations in both the community and work. I interact well with both small and large groups to meet their needs and achieve the required outcomes, and have good skills and knowledge in the use of IT to reach more diversely scattered audience utilising video conferencing.

For eight years, I have been a proud member of the Rotary, helping fellow club members navigate ClubRunner and My Rotary and guiding them through various Rotary sites. With my experience in coaching new and existing members, I have developed a passion for mentoring and coaching. As Treasurer and Secretary of our club for four years, I have gained valuable experience in Member Retention and Club Learning and Development, which I am excited to focus on now. I am confident I can use my expertise as a Membership and Training Specialist for Zone 8. I firmly believe in the power of networking and want to help Rotarians and Rotaractors achieve their goals by providing them with the knowledge they need. I am ready to expand my passion to serve and help others understand the potential of Rotary.

I’m a skilled communicator who can walk the talk with people of varying backgrounds and nationalities. This allows me to gain trust among my peers to lead others on a new path and give confidence to those struggling to find their feet. A media man by day who understands marketing and face to face communication with ease. My life experiences in the big picture of Rotary in Zone 8 will assist our team strategy to grow Rotary at clubs and districts across the zone. The way we volunteer has changed, and we can adapt with help from our Rotary Teams.

I have been an active member of Rotary since 1988, serving in multiple leadership roles at both Club and District levels, including several terms as Club President, Secretary, and Treasurer. At District level, I completed a three-year term as Assistant Governor for seven Clubs. My primary focus has been The Rotary Foundation, where I served on the District Foundation Committee for many years, including three years as Foundation Administrator and nearly four years as District Rotary Foundation Chair. I am committed to Rotary Learning and Information and am always willing to share my expertise. My background includes a career in law enforcement and experience as a union delegate. I am currently serving as District Governor for 2025–2026 and as the District Governors Representative on the ROMAC Board

I have enjoyed being a Rotarian for nearly sixteen years, volunteering on a range of projects, including: • Collaborating in the major rollout of social media in Rotary WA from 2011-2014. • Leading the formation of the first WA e-club in 2016. • Being part of a team that successfully grew District 9465 from 2015-18. • Creating and operating the Membership Voice online seminar service to promote membership best practice in Rotary globally and build evidence-based club models for others to learn from. • Collaborating with Rotary leaders and clubs across Australia and NZ on successful and innovative club revitalisation programs. • Presenting and facilitating sessions at district conferences, development seminars and club events. • Helping to continuously improve the community engagement aspects of RYPEN and RYLA

With a robust background in strategy development, policy advising, and organizational governance, I bring significant expertise in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. As the National Manager at the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) Australia, I have led national initiatives that promote youth migrants and refugees' rights. I serve as the President of the Equal Employment Opportunity Network (EEON) and an Advisory Board member for Welcoming Cities, focusing on inclusive policies and environments. My work at the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission and various international NGOs, including the United Nations, has honed my skills in building respectful and safe environments for diverse communities. I have developed and presented training, created strategies and frameworks, and implemented guidelines for meaningful participation and collaboration. Joining Rotary Pacific, I will leverage my lived experience and extensive expertise to drive DEI initiatives, foster inclusive environments, and enhance community engagement, positioning me as an asset.
