Amanda held most roles in her Rotaract club including President, then DRR, chair of RA and Rotary advisor to RA. Amanda has done similar in Rotary and just completed her third term as club President for three different Rotary clubs. Amanda’s primary role through each of her presidential terms has been to create stability and consistency for the clubs as well as member wellbeing. Amanda has also been in a range of Rotary project and programs, for District, multi-district and zone - her longest commitment being District RYPEN (in various roles since 2005 and camp director since 2018), and at a zone level Amanda served in the Membership committee 2012-2015, Trainer for the Zone’s L&D District leads since 2021, and has been working in various committees with the Regionalisation Pilot including Communications Operations Manager, a member of the core team and the Deputy Chair of the Regionalisation Establishment Team.

I’ve been a Rotarian since 2019 and am a member of the Rotary Social Impact Network in District 9685. With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across complex organisations both locally and internationally, I now work in leadership development and am an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation. My expertise includes leadership, coaching, mentoring, organisational change, and strategy. I support clubs and their leaders by offering: • Advice on leadership, team building, and managing complex change • One-on-one coaching for leaders navigating stress, change, or new leadership roles • Guidance for first-time leaders facing unfamiliar challenges As the RLI Convenor for District 9685, I also provide insight into the Rotary Leadership Institute and can help clubs align their members’ development needs with the right RLI programs.

I am a professional banker with more than 15 years of experience in banking and finance. Have served diverse clients from several backgrounds and understood their needs and with my client centric approach and understanding of cultures and diversity made me one of the popular identity amongst the clients from diversified background. Empathy, Resilience and Care is what I wish to bring in to serve the community.

I was a District Governor in 2023 during the process of establishing our Regionalisation pilot. I'm comfortable in driving change and exploring new opportunities. I managed farms in NZ where I was the sole employee, so I have had to solve most problems I came up against!! I class myself as a good organiser, whether a project or conference. I'm happy to listen and help when and where required. I'm not keen on red tape and I say "just do it".

A Past District Governor and District Trainer in Rotary , Company Director with qualifications in dispute resolution I have spent many years working in the area of membership especially focussing on bringing in new members and retaining members. I have been a member of the District Membership committee and have chaired the Membership committee within my Rotary Club for 6 years increasing membership from 15 to 53, in addition to retaining the majority of members . have also used the same principles to increase membership in other organisations A strong leader, having used my leadership skills in Rotary as well as in several other organisations in both the community and work. I interact well with both small and large groups to meet their needs and achieve the required outcomes, and have good skills and knowledge in the use of IT to reach more diversely scattered audience utilising video conferencing.

With qualifications and experience in facilitation, executive coaching and leadership development I can assist with face-to-face or online workshops or individual leadership development, as well as planning workshops. I can assist with finding other specialists if I am not available to help with your particular issue. 2. Qualified and experienced in inquiries and fact finding I can offer advice on going about such things. For Districts I can conduct independent inquiries or fact-finding on non-criminal matters that fall within the Governor's purview. 3. With experience in conflict processes and management, I can offer advice and connections to assist with conflict. 4. As a qualified Company Director with experience in governance matters in Rotary and other not-for-profits, especially constitutional documents (primarily Australia, only general principles for other countries). 5. I am involved in a number of projects that required community consultation and can share tips: Mental Health First Aid courses, VTTs, community development etc.

For eight years, I have been a proud member of the Rotary, helping fellow club members navigate ClubRunner and My Rotary and guiding them through various Rotary sites. With my experience in coaching new and existing members, I have developed a passion for mentoring and coaching. As Treasurer and Secretary of our club for four years, I have gained valuable experience in Member Retention and Club Learning and Development, which I am excited to focus on now. I am confident I can use my expertise as a Membership and Training Specialist for Zone 8. I firmly believe in the power of networking and want to help Rotarians and Rotaractors achieve their goals by providing them with the knowledge they need. I am ready to expand my passion to serve and help others understand the potential of Rotary.

I have been an active member of Rotary since 1988, serving in multiple leadership roles at both Club and District levels, including several terms as Club President, Secretary, and Treasurer. At District level, I completed a three-year term as Assistant Governor for seven Clubs. My primary focus has been The Rotary Foundation, where I served on the District Foundation Committee for many years, including three years as Foundation Administrator and nearly four years as District Rotary Foundation Chair. I am committed to Rotary Learning and Information and am always willing to share my expertise. My background includes a career in law enforcement and experience as a union delegate. I am currently serving as District Governor for 2025–2026 and as the District Governors Representative on the ROMAC Board

My diverse background and experiences bring a unique perspective that I share with Rotary and Rotaract. Comprehensive experience across multiple people disciplines and strong project management capability. Specialties include change management, corporate governance, workplace health and safety, mergers and acquisition, employee engagement and workplace relations (including conflict and resolution), diversity and people development. Though my lived experiences, contribute to dismantling biases and stereotypes, championing DEI and building safe environments - physically and psychosocially.

I have gained a wealth of Rotary knowledge through the roles I have undertaken. From being an active club member to being on the RI joint committee for Learning, a Rotary Public Image Coordinator to training Coordinators from across the world in Evanston, and using those skills as an RDU Director and Lead Facilitator in Learning. I have been involved in start-up projects involving Rotary and creating partnerships with other organisations which have given me useful experiences to help Rotarians with their projects. I consider that passing on and creating resources to clubs and individuals is essential to the success of Rotary in our zone. I have worked across areas including Membership, Foundation, Governance, Learning and Public Image which has enabled me to have a sound working knowledge of Rotary. The Regionalisation process gives us the opportunity to try out a new way of working collaboratively across our zone.

I am a concerned and passionate advocate for Growing Rotary across our zone. Working collaboratively with like-minded Rotarians to work on different models of club / groups so we present attractive volunteering and networking opportunities to the public in our communities is essential for us to be relevant in the world today. Having presented, led and worked with groups at district level and beyond has given me knowledge and experience to be able to help Rotarians who are wanting to look at new ways to engage their members and grow our organisation to meet future generations expectations. In my working life I work with a diverse range of people within my architectural practice and have developed skills in strategic and lateral thinking which I believe can benefit Rotary at many levels.

Extensive experience in youth programs for almost 20 years as a participant, facilitator and Director of RYLA. Founding Chair of RYLA Oceania, a Zone-level initiative designed to enhance collaboration of RYLA District Leaders across the Zone and improve opportunities for RYLA Alumni to continue their RYLA journey. RYLA Oceania has held 5 Forums for RYLA District Leaders across Australia and New Zealand and two advanced year-long leadership programs for RYLA Alumni. Rebecca has an ability to find synergies in existing initiatives and amplify their impact. Rebecca can help clubs, Rotaractors and Rotarians with all things RYLA, from alumni engagement, communications and marketing, Rotary engagement, corporate sponsorship, speakers and how to find RYLA applicants. As a Leadership and Strategy Coach, Rebecca can assist Rotaractors and Rotarians with improving their individual and team performance, enhancing their awareness and effectiveness as a leader and providing keynote presentations or workshops in this space.

I have been a member of, or led, learning and development teams from my club through to the Zone level since 2015, focused on supporting learning for Rotaract members. For the past 5 years, I have supported clubs with governance matters, from understanding their club constitution, through to incorporation and insurance matters.

1987 joined Inner Wheel Club Port Moresby [PNG] Secretary 2 years-Treasurer 2 years. 1994- 1995 President of Inner Wheel Club. 7 Dec 1997 – Migrated to Auckland New Zealand. 1998 Joined Rotary Club Auckland Harborside. 2000 to 2006: transferred to Sydney joined Rotary Club Sydney CBD[AUST] Served as Club Service Director- Community Service Director & International Director. In 2006 returned Auckland. 2012-13 President of R C Auckland Harborside - In 2013, PDG Ron Seeto awarded “Pushing Boundaries Award”. Lead role in Peace & Conflict Resolution Forum: RI President Sakuji Tanaka’s theme “Peace through Service” organized the Peace & Conflict Resolution Forum at University of Auckland. Oct 2015 Charter New Club for D: 9920 “R C Papatoetoe Central”. July 2016 to June 2018 I was Assistant Governor and was in charge of five Rotary Clubs in Auckland. 2014 to date: Serving on District level as Chairperson Global Grant Scholarship- Peace Fellowships-INTERPLAST.
