I am the current president of the Rotary Club of Nunawading, We are looking at transitioning from spreadsheets to Xero.
We currently do have a Xero licence and have been trying to replicate our books in Xero, but are having some issues with the process of moving over.
Our desire, if possible, would be to have Xero up and running by 1 July 2025 for the new Rotary year.
I have an expieneced bookkeeprer helping, but she doesn’t know Rotary well.
We need some help with setting up the systems with things like clasification of income and expenditure.
Another question that has been asked is, do we realy need 2 bank accounts (general for running the club and special for projects) if we have Xero to break things into separate accounts.
